To extract the archive file :
- 1. Make the empty folder named REX9530 on the hard disk.
- 2. Move 9530u_03.exe into the REX9530 folder.
- 3. Double click the REX9530 folder.
- 4. Double-click the 9530u_03.exe icon in the folder.
- 5. Be sure that multiple files are extracted.
- 6. Delete 9530u_03.exe from the REX9530 folder.
Updating the driver for Windows 98 :
- 01. Click the Start button, select Settings and then click Control Panel.
- 02. Click the System icon.
- 03. Click the Device Manager tab.
- 04. Double-click SCSI controllers.
- 05. Select SCSI PC Card REX 9530 in the list.
- 06. Click on the Properties button, then click on the Software tab.
- 07. Check to see the date before updating the driver.
- 08. Click on the Update Driver... button.
- 09. When the Update Device Driver Wizard window appears, click on the Next button.
- 10. Select Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now (Recommended) and click on the Next button.
- 11. Select Specify a location and input the c:\REX9530 (In the case the drive letter of your hard disk drive is "c"). Then click on the Next button.
- 12. Select The updated driver (Recommended) and click on the Next button.
- 13. Check to see the driver appears and click on the Next button.
- 14. Click on the Finish button.
